The Human Body System


We all know that the human body system are composed of 11 different parts which are the Nervous System, Respiratory System, Excretory System, Muscular System, Endocrine System, Lymphatic (Immune) System, Integumentary System, Digestive System, Skeletal System, Circulatory System, and the Reproductive System. When if any of this system will alter the function the human body will suffer. Because the main purpose of these 11 organ system is to maintain HOMEOSTASIS (Balance). So that we can function and do all things well.

Purpose of 11 Human Body System




Reproductive system serves the purpose of reproducing for the continuation of the species. The the major organs of this system are the Fallopian tubes, the ovaries, the cervix, the vagina, and the breasts







Immune System - to remove infectious diseases and other pathogens from the human body.
                            - major organs are : Skin, White Blood Cells, Lymph Nodes.







Muscular System - works with the skeletal and nervous system to produce movement, also help to circulate blood through the human body.
                           - major organs are : Biceps, Triceps, Glutes, Hamsprings, Deltoid.








Skeletal System - to provide structure and support to the human body.









 Endocrine System - to control growth, development, metabolism, and reproduction through the production and secretion of hormones.
                            - major organs are : Hypothalamus, Pituitary Glands, Thyroid, Parathyroid, Adrenal Glands, Pancreas, Testes, Ovaries.







Nervous System - to coordinate the body's response to changes in it's internal and external environment.
                          - major organs are :   Brain, Spinal Cord, Nerves.







Circulatory System - to deliver oxygenation blood to the various cells and organs in your body so they can undergo cellular respiration.
                              - major organs are :  Heart, Arteries, Veins, Capillaries, Blood, Spleen.








Respiratory System - to provide the body with a fresh supply of oxygen for cellular respiration and remove the waste product carbon dioxide.
                              - major organs are : Nose, Phaynx, Larynx, Trachea, Bronchi, Diaphragm. 






Excretory System - to rid the body of wastes, including excess water and salts.
                              -  major organs are : Kidney, Rectum, Skin, Lungs.







Digestive System - to convert food particles into simpler macromolecules that can be absorbed into the blood stream and used by the body.
                              - major organs are : Mouth, Esophagus, Stomach,    Liver, Gallbladder, Small Intestine, Large Intestine.
